Gouthama Siddarthan, (India, 1964) is a contemporary short story writer, poet, essayist and literary critic, highly regarded in the circle of the literary avant-garde in the Tamil language. He has published fifteen books, including several collections of short stories and essays. He also acts as editor of the literary magazine 'UNNATHAM', focused on international contemporary literature, which won the "Best Magazine Award" of the year 2018. As a member of Citizen TALES Commons he is working on polishing his poetry collection Timebyrinth which draws on elements of Tamil and Greek myths and folklore and which is also is being translated into Greek.
