Valentina felt attracted to Citizen TALES because she was eager to return to a collaborative translation. She quickly realized that the subject was deeply personal to her current identity. Being an immigrant plays an important role into her daily life, approach to art, and perspective on language and culture. She hopes the discussions will bring her closer to a new identity and place in the world: a citizen of nowhere, able to live anywhere.
