Theodouli Alexiadou

Theodouli (Lily) Alexiadou is a Teaching and Laboratory Faculty Member in the Department of Theatre Studies at the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens. She holds a Doctorate in Modern Greek Literature with an Emphasis in the notions of Otherness and Identity from the University of Paris IV-Sorbonne. (D.E.A. in Modern Greek Literature).
Lily’s publications and research interests center upon literary theory, Modern Greek literature (poetry and prose), theatre and performed literature, philosophy and literature. Her recent placement as a Teaching and Laboratory Faculty Member in the Department of Theatre Studies at the University of Athens, since November 2017, has already given her the opportunity to work as a researcher in the Laboratory of Theatre Research, Documentation and Information, on the rich collection of theatre programs donated to the Department. She currently works as a researcher in the newly founded Philosophy, Theatre, Education Laboratory. Her most recent publication is the monograph The Poetics of Alterity in Post War Greek Poetry, (Hecate Publications, Athens 2021). As a Citizen TALES Commons member she will co-curate a series of poetry readings and publications in collaboration with Hecate Publications for which she serves as a liaison.
