Theatre| Performance Studies | The Relationship Between the Theatre and its Surrounding Environment | The Public Theatre in France

As a Citizen TALES Commons member, I would like to continue my work on the social / sociocultural position of the theatre (public/State-funded theatres in particular), as well as their engagement with their various publics. My work focuses largely on questions of community and plurality in community, and I feel that joining a group such as this one that touches on similar issues in a variety of fields would greatly benefit my research.
