Eleni Tzatzimaki
MA, Modern Greek Studies
Eleni is a poet and jazz musician. She has published four poetry collections and her poems have been translated into Italian, French and English. Besides jazz, she has also studied Byzantine music. She strongly believes that poetry is not only created by words but also from the unused tools which can be found on certain hidden gaps existing between performative and literary arts, between art and science.
She is currently working with the translators of the Citizen TALES Commons towards translating Claudia Rankine’s Citizen: An American Lyric into Modern Greek.
