Dr. Eugenia (Jenny) Kardaris

Dr. Eugenia (Jenny) Kardaris became a dentist because she wanted to help people and wanted
to eliminate oral disease. To achieve this, Dr. Kardaris has invested a great deal of time in further
education. She keeps up-to-date by annually attending leading dental seminars. She also uses the
latest in advanced technology, as she believes this is important in giving the best care possible.
She has served as both a researcher and instructor at several medical institutions including
Northwestern University and Washington University. Dr. Kardaris is one of a select few doctors
with hospital privileges at Mercy Hospital, which provides her the ability to continue treatment
for any of her patients that have been admitted.
In her spare time, she volunteers for her community as the President of the Hellenic Society of
Greater St. Louis, organizing a plethora of diverse cultural events. She serves as a mentor for the
Youth Mentoring Forum on Civic Innovation, while she is also working towards strengthening
the collaboration between Citizen TALES Commons and the Hellenic Society of Greater St.
Louis with a focus on innovative language pedagogies and the establishment of the online
Modern Greek Literature and Diaspora Studies Forum.
